As I struggled to fall asleep a few weeks ago, I contemplated just getting up out of bed and doing work and answering emails. I also have a side project or I could write a great American novel, or compose my opus, all the things I could be doing instead of sleeping. I always hated going to sleep as a kid, I felt like it took away from play time.
